O Grows Farmer’s Market
Date: October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Come out to O Grows Farmer’s Market every Saturday this fall from 9 a.m. – noon! Come support your favorite local growers, bakers, craftsmen/women, artisans, community members, neighbors, gardeners, and maybe a goat… or three! In addition to the market you know and love, there will also be workshops, educational activities, and more! O Grows is a community-university partnership with the mission to meet the food needs of all residents in a way that is economically, socially, and environmentally viable for future generations.

Tipoff at Toomer’s
Date: October 7
Time: 4 – 9 p.m.
Auburn University, Auburn Athletics and the City of Auburn are once again partnering to deliver Tipoff at Toomer’s, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7.
First held in 2019, this unique event will take place on a basketball court at the heart of where the city and university converge at the corner of College St. and Magnolia Ave.
Tipoff at Toomer’s is set to feature men’s basketball head coach Bruce Pearl, new women’s basketball head coach Johnnie Harris as well as a preview of the 2021-22 teams. The event is free and open to the public.

Pine Hill Cemetery Lantern Tour
Date: October 14th – October 15th, 2021
Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Characters come alive two nights in October at Auburn’s oldest and most historic cemetery! Join your neighbors at this biennial event where cemetery “residents” tell the story of early Auburn. Hear from founder Judge John Harper and others and see where five university presidents rest. This is a family-friendly walking tour through this historic cemetery, lit with candles, where you can learn interesting facts about Auburn.
The tour is planned for two nights, Thursday, October 14, and Friday, October 15, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Pine Hill Cemetery is located on Armstrong Street. Tickets are $10 at the gate /$5 for students. Park at East Samford School to walk or trolley to the cemetery. Find us on Facebook or at www.auburnheritageassoc.org.

Auburn Food & Wine Festival
Date: October 14th – October 15th, 2021
The benefit dinners will be hosted on October 14 and 15 with seven restaurants and/or chefs participating. There are 4 locations available on Thursday night and 3 locations on Friday night. You are welcome to attend both nights and receive a discount! The Chef will guide guests through the dinner experience, educating them on each course. Sundown Concert Series
Date: October 7, 14, 21 & 28
Time: 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM
Join Auburn Parks and Recreation each Thursday night for an evening of music and fun at beautiful Keisel Park. Bring your lawn chair, blanket, kick back, and enjoy the music. Food concessions will be on-site for purchase along with FREE inflatables.
