Three principles guide my personal and professional interactions – honesty, integrity, and service. I have a passion for customer care and client satisfaction.
I joined Coldwell Banker Alliance in 2017. I quickly partnered with Corrie Kent Green to form Kent-McCown Group. We successfully earned the title of the top producer in 2020 & 2021. We have experience in buying and selling farms, purchasing and managing condos, townhomes, single-family homes, and buying and selling luxury homes.
Before I discovered real estate, I was a school superintendent. In my previous career, I was the owner’s representative for construction and renovation projects totaling 38 million dollars over five years. Real estate transactions come with their own fun set of conflicts and my experience in the school system has given me great resolve in dealing with these disputes.
I received my BS in Education from the University of Georgia and my Masters in Business Education from The University of West Georgia. I earned my Doctorate in Education from Auburn University.
My wife and I were thrilled to settle in Auburn, Alabama in 2016. We had spent the previous 7 years on a beautiful farm in Gordon County, Georgia. Moving to a college town provided us with many opportunities and residing in the Loveliest Village on the Plains had been a dream for many years. Auburn had always served as a kind of “home base”. Our three children are now grown and pursuing their own dreams, but Auburn has always felt like home for the whole family.

When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking and entertaining with friends. We love our backyard swimming pool and we love sharing it with close friends as well. I take great joy in finding ways to help others (including my business partners and children) be successful. And when football season rolls around, my friends and family host a large tailgate for every Auburn University home game. War Eagle!

My goal in real estate is to assist buyers and sellers in a smooth and stress-free transaction. I enjoy the enthusiasm and excitement from first-time home sellers/buyers and the confidence and knowledge of seasoned clients as well.

I moved with my family to Auburn in 2010. My children are the reason I strive for excellence every day. My oldest son has Autism and we are thankful to live in a community that provides so many opportunities for children with special needs.
Being a mom helps me to juggle the everyday demands of real estate as well. I am highly anticipatory, attentive to others, and a creative problem solver in my personal and professional life.
These skills help our team deliver a stress-free transaction for our clients.
Auburn-Opelika feels like home. It’s a small town with the advantage of many big-city amenities. It’s hard not to fall in love with Auburn University and the SEC football fandom. This sleepy college town comes alive on home-game weekends in the fall.
